25th Living Heritage Expo
The Living Heritage Expo is coming again! And this is the 25th time, so an anniversary. On Sunday 27 August, Steunpunt Levend Erfgoed will once again organize this unique event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free entrance.
Where?
The event island in Provincial Domain Puyenbroeck.
Puyenbrug 1a – Wachtebeke, Flanders – Belgium > parking 1
What?
You can admire almost all the old local breeds of farm and farm animals, from our local cattle breeds over the various draft horse breeds, sheep and goat breeds to the multicolored collection of breeds of fowl, rabbits, pigeons and park and water birds. They are exhibited live. Our dog breeds are also present and show their best abilities.
Buy and sell
In addition to the exhibition and inspection of animals, many animals change owners every year. For those looking for a rare breed from our country or a specific color variety, it is a unique opportunity to purchase animals or to make contact with breeders.
Naturally, the animals are the focus of the Living Heritage Expo, but there are also some stands with old crafts, agricultural and rural education, farm products, bee articles, and so on.
